Is my desktop good enough to run New Vegas smoothly?

Post » Thu Apr 07, 2011 3:18 am

I just want to make sure my desktop is good enough to run Fallout New Vegas at a decent setting. Have the system requirements been officially released? I have found a few links on google, but am not 100% they are official.

Anyways, here are my specs:
i7 920 2.67GHz
9 gig ram
Nvidia GTX 260 I've seen this card rated low, but when I go to properties it says "dedicated video memory: 1792 MB"
Will be played on a 2048x1152 monitor

I'm fairly sure I shouldn't have any problems, but it never hurts to double check.

Thanks for any help!

OP, your computer should be more capable to max out the game.

Dedicated video memory = 1792 MB? Whaaa? That's no onboard video RAM value I've ever seen... It's done in powers of 2 like any other RAM module size.
