Getting Ridiculous

This game has gotten progressively less stable on Windows 7 64-bit.. Its now pretty much unplayable with a crash every 10 minutes. I have this problem on 2 different systems both running Windows 7 64-bit. (one Dell and 1 homebuilt) I could at least play for an hour at launch. Since then its gotten worse. I haven't checked the patch history but I'm guessing we got a new patch in the last 3 days or so. So last night I deleted all my saved games and started a completely new fresh game last night and crashola every 10 minutes.

Any suggestions?

I'm guessing you bought it on Steam and used the dll fix for the performance issues?

Ever since the patches, when using the dll fix, I crash roughly every 15 minutes or so. I delete the dll fix and played with the crappy framerate and the game doesn't crash. Go figure. Either way I play it, I feel like I can't enjoy the game anymore.

I installed with the store bought copy (pre-order for in store pickup at Gamestop). I haven't tweaked anything. I hadn't even perused the game directory until last night looking for the saved games.

At first (launch) my crashes would occur doing a specific action. For example I came across a traveling merchant and unloaded a bunch of vendor trash and it would crash when I clicked "accept" in the transaction. Regardless of which previous saved game I loaded, it would crash on this merchant.

Now my crashes are seemingly random. Just now I crashed in a fresh new game meeting the chic outback for your shooting tutorial. I reloaded and went a little further and then crashed chasing her to the well.

I am having this same issue. I have only been playing the game after the patches and it has been crashing no matter what i set the settings to. I have reinstalled the game, and i have reinstalled windows. It is just not working. I realize that this is a forum for community based fixes but if the community isnt finding fixes and whenever i fill out the application at the tech support website and i still dont get feed back then that means something is wrong. Hopefully they release one hell of a patch soon. heres my dxdiag

I'm guessing you bought it on Steam and used the dll fix for the performance issues?

Ever since the patches, when using the dll fix, I crash roughly every 15 minutes or so. I delete the dll fix and played with the crappy framerate and the game doesn't crash. Go figure. Either way I play it, I feel like I can't enjoy the game anymore.

The DLL on windows 7 fix, was dreadfull and the game wouldn't run for me so took that off..
I had a bad frame rate - Jerky etc.I haev a dual monitor setup and when I configured the graphics card to one monitor it was fine.
