Where can my followers stay? : Fallout: New Vegas

So i have come across 4 followers now, but i already have 2, and it says "Come back when you have room for me".
I heard you can tell your followers to stay somewhere and that you can get them all to hang out in one room. ... i have the novac hotel but my followers wont stay there?

is there another home i have to aquire?

lucky 38 is the only place i know so far, i dont think you can switch

just get to the strip

You can tell your companions to go back to where to you originally got them from, you can also make them wait somewhere but you still keep their perk and aren't allowed to pick up another if you do.

You can only have 2 followers at a time,
the others remain where you find them so take note of thier positions,
just tell the ones you dont want to go away they return to where you found them (or tell you where they are going) then select your new char.

you can have 4 followers,
number 3 if you are friendly with ncr they give you a radio and you can call for help this person stays with you till they die then you can call for help again,
number 4 only in new vegas you can hire a bodyguard.

use speech to get him to open up and he tells u about the passports

how do you get them to stay in the hotel? do you have to tell them to wait when your in the hotel, also i heard there is a bug where if you have veronica stay in the hotel, and you tell her to follow you she won't.

ive found the bodyguard is useless cause they just run away....
