Yes, I know, I should have pre-ordered WAY earlier... But that's the past and now I have to figure out how to get it.

The reason that I ask is that the FO3 "lunch box" was available over a year after release (not widely, but the average GameStop in my area had one or two). I don't know if those were from launch or a second run. Either way, what do you guys think of the CE for NV? All of the web-sites that I checked either (A.) don't list it anymore, (B.) list it as "coming soon", or (C.) list it as available for pre-order but don't specify if it will be available at launch or at a later time.

What do you guys think?

I'm still wondering how I snagged a F3 CE a year after release. So hopefully it'll be the same for NV.

Doubtful. The reason there were so many Fo3s still around for a while is that initially more were produced than initial demand existed. Fo3 was definitely one of those games that drew people in over time fairly well. However this doesn't mean you won't be able to find a copy of FVN CE at a store somewhere... it just seems rather unlikely.

I do not think it is likely that the CE for FNV will get a reprint. I can't think of any game with a CE that has gotten a treatment like this before certainly.

I would have to say that I don't believe there will be a second run. Aside of people buying the CE and reselling it on sites like Ebay, I don't think you'll be able to find it after the first batch... could be wrong though. :shrug:

True, but I've had an experience where Amazon listed something in stock and then it got delayed. (*The item was very rare, moreso even than a Collector's Edition so that delay may not apply to this situation)

Didn't check K-Mart, though. I usually only use Amazon or Best Buy in person so I'm not sure about those other stores and their consistency in fulfilling Collector's Editions. What do you guys say?

There's a store right by me that still has a copy of the Fallout 3 CE (PC even). I'm thinking I'm going to buy it and stick it in my closet.

As for a rerun of the CE...I can't think of a single game that's ever done that. Would be pretty cool, with the success of FO3, many more people are going to be coming to New Vegas.
