Nothin' but a Hound Dog/Rex Ending Issues.

Okay, so basically... when I completed that quest, I elected to grab Rey's brain (got the Faithful Protector perk for that, too), as I figured that would probably be the best ending for him, having read about that on the Fallout wiki. I just ran through the final battle, and... in the ending it said that I hadn't found a brain for Rex. That's a bit upsetting, considering that I have Rey's brain in there. Is there any way I can fix that, for the proper ending? Any variables I could try setting via the console that the game might have somehow missed?

I wish I knew more about the GECK, if I did, I'd take the quest apart myself to find out what variables I need to set, but unfortunately I don't. So I have to rely on anyone who's charitable enough to check for me.

Anyone who does... thanks!

Edited: Hm...

I reset the quest to try again, and I used:

set "0010d8df".TalkedToKingAboutRex to 0
set "0010d8df".LearnedAboutDocHenry to 0
set "0010d8df".ReceivedTransplant to 0

I've talked to Farkas, that went fine, but on going back to the King, he doesn't have the dialogue that tells Rex to follow me/to go to Doc Henry.

I'm guessing there's a variable I've missed on The King. Any ideas? Any help at all would be hugely appreciated.

Edited: YEEES.

I managed to figure it out.

Apparently, because I went to Calamity to finish up instead of Henry, it didn't properly set the nTransplantResult variable. This can be fixed by doing the following...

set "001176B8".nTransplantResult to 1

0 is none (this is what it ended up for me, for whatever bloody reason)
1 is for Rey
2 is for Violetta
3 is for Lupa

Whuf. That was annoying.

But hey, I fixed it.

Now I'll go update the wiki, or something. @_@

(When I set my mind on a task, I will not be denied. Yay OCDness.)
