The official guide says that I need to bring Veronica to "any 3 of the following locations (.... just blank ... )" before she will initiate a conversation to bring me to BoS. Where exactly do I have to bring her?

Or can I just head on over to the bunker without the quest? I'd like to complete the quests if possible

I've gotten a response from taking her along with me to do the boomer quest at the Air force base and taking the little tour the kid gives you. Also she commented on Mr. House while in the penthouse in the lucky 38 casino. I still need one more cause you apparently need 3. Does anyone know where else to go? I've tried the places where the guide says to go but none work for whatever reason.

She died on me somewhere and I continued playing, guess I can't finish the game without her and have to restart?
I'm getting stuck on every end mission because of the BoS.

Are you playing hardcoe? Companions can't die in normal gameplay, unless its glitched for you.

Does anyone have an specific locations (not just the name of the place but exact spot/ person) for Veronica to comment. For example I got two comments from her. One at the Airfield where the boomers live, inside the museum right after the kid tells you the history of the boomers(its a little tour thing). The second spot was right next to the elevators in the penthouse suite of the Lucky 38 casino.

Inside of the NCR base,Camp Mc Carran,Then again after talking to Dr.Hildren(he will advance Veronica,EdE,Arcade)The silver rush,Talk to Julie in the old mormon fort,walk close to nipton.Other locations as well..They kinda rapid fire hit me so I didnt really notice she had flags...(shes my companion of choice)Thats five...and she needs three.

Please confirm did she just start talking at these locations and times or did you need to talk. I have been going around for hours with no luck. I completed most of the quest that are listed already before bringing her along. Seems like I could be past the point of no return for get her to talk.

Yes I am in the same boat. I have the guide and went to all the places listed in there, but I've done all the quests associated with each location. There are obviously other locations since the Lucky 38 isn't listed as a location for her to talk in the guide and I got her to talk there.

What I'd like to know is for Camp McCarran, Vault 3, Old Mormon Fort, Nipton and Nelson, does she comment once you discover the location or is it just randomly while you walk around? I've been going back and forth to these places constantly with no luck.
I really want to get this quest done with so I can work on getting the other Follower quests done.

Where on the map is the Old Mormon Fort?

I'm having trouble with taking out the BOS base, and I don't really WANT to take them out anyway, so I'm wondering if its possible to have the BOS be the "lead" faction instead of NCR or Caesar's legion? I can't find any more quests besides the in the dark one? Do I need Veronica to get more BOS quests?

For me she initiated conversation the first time I went into silver rush (halfway through the "boss discussion" and then had a couple of new dialog options under the BoS tree. Then, after I met mr house, she had new dialog, but didn't say anything until I talked to her. I've tried going to:
Novac
nipton
Talking to OSI man (hildern)
Talking to FOTA doctor woman (farkas)
Going to mccarran (inside terminal too)

I only need one more but nothing seems to work. Why are obsidian games ALWAYS so buggy? Or is is just me?

I had Veronica auto trigger talking to me in 3 locations, however I also frequently talked to her and exhausted all the conversation options whenever possible.

I had a trigger in McCaran (in parking lot around the mess hall / food tent and another time around the medical tent which is next to the food tent) \
I forgot the second one.
I had a trigger in H&H Tools (lobby) -- on the way out after clearing the place she said she needed to go back to BoS -- yeehaw
