My Reports On BRINK

Hey Fellas.

I would just like to start by saying that BRINK is a incredible game and one that everyone must try. Its customization system is absolutely mind blowing for me and my mate who have been playing this none stop since this game came out.

Now to my point...

One thing that bothered me in the game was when you buff yourself as an Engineer, and your gun starts to pulse orange the whole time, if there was some sort of way to either turn it off or change it to your character who pulses orange only towards your team and not the enemy so your team mates and mainly Engineer's know that you're already buffed and no one has to run out and try and buff you when you're already been buffed. Or just simply the case that an icon pops up under your health bar in the top right of the screen to indicate that you're buffed or something like that, because I really like the textures of the weapons and all, but the orange pulse just ruins it completely for me.

Another thing I experienced for the first time today with BRINK was a Nvidia OpenGL crash error 8, something to do with my graphics card or my display loosing connection or something along those lines. Just thought it'd point that out to you guys.

And lastly, today I was playing LAN with my mate, and I noticed that when you switch to the other team as your mates, either yours or his character doesn't look anything like the ones you or he/she created, its like our skins were mistaken as a bots skin or something. The way I've found to fix it is simply dying and/or leaving the server and joining on the same side as your mate.

Overall, this game has a great potential and has many great things to come. I am extremely glad that this game is associated with Steam is it makes it easier for friends to join your server with a easy click and play method instead of grabbing the IP Address all the time, so great job on the game guys, its a serious eye opener

Happy Gaming All.

I'm just going to be making notes of further ideas as much as I can, feel free to add any of your own.

One thing I noticed that was missing from BRINK which was in the previous classic Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory was the pick up grenade key or toss back feature, that would be really useful for us Engineers considering 1 grenade blow to our turrets takes it down and there is nothing I can do than just sit back and watch it destroy my turret :(

I know this feature has been in many games like...CoD *cringe* and some other games I cant think of at the top of my head at the moment...but this "some-what" simple feature would be greatly appreciated and will surely put us on the edge of our seats, trying to grab that grenade before it explodes in our faces...

Once again, I cant get enough of this game guys...its so good that I completely lost track of time playing BRINK with my mate that we ended up playing it till 6:30 in the morning... 0_0

Two other things I forgot to mention was a couple glitches or just some simple things that I did realise that Alt + Tabbing does when jumping back in.

I grabbed a couple screen shots of the glitches so you have a better understanding of what I am trying to imply.

Picture #1 was some sort of word glitch, it happened in my mates name Trylax. His T had a some sort of glitch looked something like a bar code looking figure. It also happened earlier where a medic would chuck me a syringe, and the X wouldn't show up when you are able to hold it down to revive yourself.

Picture #2 was a glitch where the server said I had only myself and 2 other bots in it. to me it looked like there was a lot than the 3 of us...when I took a hardy look around, the majority of all the bots were invisible as shown in the picture i've provided below.

I strongly feel it would have to be something to do with Alt + Tabbing, if the only fix is to avoid Alt + Tabbing all the time, then I'll take that in and simply close the game if I require to leave for something on my desktop.

Thank you for listening to my...pointless discussion on the glitches and idea's that i've come across. I'll keep you guys posted on all the things I pick up. I hope this helps...
