fallout NV problems before even playing

Hey guise,
I recently got Fallout: NV and I downloaded it and ran it. Everything worked fine and i was impressed by how fast it was going and the graphics. I started a new game and it worked fine. the cutscenes all worked, UNTIL the loading screen right after it. ABout 1 slide in, or a few rotations of the wheel thing, it says that "FalloutNV has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem or close the program etc you guys probably understand what i mean. Also, i downloaded the geck and put all 4 files into the fallout nv folder. it opens fine, and loads the main fallout.bsa file perfectly, until i load a cell/anything and it loads most references then just crashes and the same error comes up. Can anybody help me here?

How do I reinstall them? I'm running Windows 7 via Parallels desktop for my MacBook Pro if that helps....

Parallels is not a good option to run games on a Mac. Buy a Windows Operating System disc and use Boot Camp to install it.

The Parallels device driver is buggy plus you are only allocating 1GB of system memory.

Then again you probably have an unsupported graphics chipset anyway.

Hey guise,
I recently got Fallout: NV and I downloaded it and ran it. Everything worked fine and i was impressed by how fast it was going and the graphics. I started a new game and it worked fine. the cutscenes all worked, UNTIL the loading screen right after it. ABout 1 slide in, or a few rotations of the wheel thing, it says that "FalloutNV has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem or close the program etc you guys probably understand what i mean. Also, i downloaded the geck and put all 4 files into the fallout nv folder. it opens fine, and loads the main fallout.bsa file perfectly, until i load a cell/anything and it loads most references then just crashes and the same error comes up. Can anybody help me here?

I thing I had the same problem and this helped me:
If you have Nvidia's graphics card download this: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34778
or ATI's use this: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34970
If these won't help I'm out of ideas.
