hello guys. without any spoilers, should I be working on getting my 30 cards to play? So many people give me the option to play, but I don't have enough cards yet. Havent been to the strip yet either. just questing and runnin around.

Thoughts? Is this something big im missing out on by now or no?

It's not a big deal but it's a pretty fun card game.

very confusing game, but lets you gamble after you've been banned from all the other casinos.

I've always got a full deck from Ringo in Goodsprings, but just buying cards from every traveling merchant you come across should get you the deck pretty quick. Get as many kings as you can, those are awesome.

in my first play-through I did not gamble at all. lol. In my 2nd I've played 2 hands of caravan with Ringo - one loss and one win. Not sure if I will play more or not.

Caravan is really fun when you get the hang of it. It's really easy though... Just throw down three 10's, then, put two kings on which ever caravans the NPC is not trying to take. Then, put a 6 on each of yours and bam. You win. :celebration:

I haven't gotten that achievement yet... I expected it to be higher than that.

21 hours in, and only played once... Gamblings not really my thing though >.>

i dunno if theyre gonna fix this but the traders in primm mojave outpost and novac all play caravan so if you trade all your caps to them you can just play them for your money back....

caravan fun game good times rage quit when i first started cause i was so confused and didnt know what i was doing but once you get the hang of it its fairly easy

u should talk to ringo for cards he gives u 54 cards , it gave me 75% of my caps

If you WANT to be playing Caravan, you should be able to assemble a deck very easily if you just make sure to buy all the cards from every vendor you see. The cards are cheap. I think Ringo in Goodsprings may give you a starter deck as well.

As to whether you "should" be playing Caravan, that's up to you. I think it's fun and it's a very easy way to earn caps once you get good at it.

I have about 80+ hours on my char and just reached level 30 and hav'nt played caravan once, hell the only time i've walked into a casino is if i need to for a mission but i hav'nt gambled once yet, and i've just gotten over 100k in caps by just picking up and selling anything with a decent weigth to value ratio.
