Alpha, Beta, wtf? : Othor Games

In my game im in (6 humans including me), theres 2 teams of 2 people in the Scoreboard called "Alpha", and one called "Beta".

What's that about?

No need to correct, you are in fact right. I believe it separates friends and puts them in their own group, not sure on that though.

Ahhh I get it now. That's why it say's when they leave "You have left the "Fireteam"

Still, what's the purpose? Communication via MIC? Or... what?

Or just something fancy pancy smancy?

Fireteams are created freely. Owner invites others freely. Others can request to join or leave freely. Fireteam chat is separate from team and public chat.

Fireteam names going in Army alphabet order. You know, Alpha, Beta, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, etc.........
