Hi guys, I am having abit of an issue here, I have recently bought fallout new vegas and have installed it, patched it all up, and was eagerly looking forward to playing the game. The intro comes up and I enjoyed watching it, all hyped up ready to play, when it gets to the loading screen the game crashes. I decided to try again but this time skip the intro, now I go onto the internet searching for a solution to this and see if anybody has the same issue. People recommend going into the .ini files and removing the intro there, so I did, and unfortunatly I get the same crash again (just this time with no intro). I then decided to download the D3D9.dll that people have also recommend, again nothing helps, intro comes up, skip it, crash.

Can somebody explain to me what is going on, I know my PC is compatiable for fallout new vegas, and I have even tried using the different graphics settings.
