Sneak-Peek for Modders

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 5:52 pm

Just saw on the Vault wiki blog about a new feature they implemented: the "Media Location Controller", a system that not just loads certain music for certain locales like you could in FO3 (a welcome change from hardcoded like Oblivion), but also according to your faction status there.

If they revamped the music system that much, I eagerly await to see what more they changed. :D

They also are apparently remixing and revamping some older FO1/2 tunes as well.

Cool news :tops:

The tune from Redding, looks like. (because it sounds SouthWestern).

**Hey... It looks like they are using more than just the one from Redding after all. :goodjob:

Well heck, if they did so many good things they told us, think about stuff that they didn't said about

Sweet. I love the more technical and detailed stuff more than the 23rd preview with weapons, quests and gameplay descriptions.
Wait, does that quote at the bottom mean that this is why the remastered Fallout tracks disappeared? Because they are now where they belong, in a game? ^_^

Huh, looks like there's an overhead view of Goodsprings on page 2. It looks pretty large, or at least larger than most of the settlements in Fallout 3. :) I have secret hopes that we'll get to buy a house there or something, haha.
