Graphic/movement problem after update to 1.1.1.280

So Steam updates for me to 1.1.1.280, so the first thing I do is come to the forum to see what problems people are encountering. The news looks grim for my Cuter Veronica mod.
So I load up via NVMM (I know frowned upon blah blah) everything seems fine, until I explore a little further. I'm in my 2nd play through and currently in Vault 22 level 5. All appears fine until I try to sneak up on a Spore Carrier to kill it to death, I take my finger of the W key, yet I jump/glitch forward 3 or so feet in game, straight into said creature who now starts to claw at me.

I think ok it maybe due to mods, so I exit without saving planning to find the most stable work around (even if it means no Cuter Veronica). I've done a cold boot of my PC, I've verified all local files via Steam, I've undone the validation/invalidation, I've ran it without any mods directly from the launcher with all the previous and still I jerk forwards 3 or so feet when stopping.

Please fix this as I wont play until I can effectively sneak up on critters unawares again without running into them through no fault of my own.

Edit: I'm running it on the same graphic settings as before this update, ultra with water turned down to medium. Everything was great before.

Update: after Steam updated to 1.2.0.285 I am still crashing into walls and doors and critters and over shooting corpses I want to loot. It may seem a small trivial thing, but it is highly annoying, and wasn't happening before your abortion of a patch(s). I also don't seem to be able to loot bodies now if my companions are engaged in combat.

Please patch the patched patch ASAP.

It's even worse for me: I don't only encouter this "pouncing forward" problem (which also seems to affect shooting, as the game now often shoots two bullets instead of one), but very often (after patching, never before) when holding a gun the game doesn't react to "V", "R", "Right Mouse Click" or "E" (when trying to loot something) anymore. I have to save and reload to make the buttons work again properly. The patch seems to have brought a big problem here, making it pretty unplayable for me.
