What's your playing style?

Personally, I often run Medium Soldier. I run something like a support/artillery role.

While I do take the time to give people ammo, I usually spend my time clearing up the objective. I roll Lobster and Kross + Extended Mags.

What I'll do is toss a Flashbang to disorientate a group of people, followed by Molotov, Frag cooked to three seconds, and Lobster. It's a nice sudden burst of damage, and often breaks up groups of objective attackers/defenders, and paves the way for my team.

I bounce around a lot, can never stick with one gun/class! But I would say Im operative as of now but I'm having a problem, bots have eyes on the back of their heads so when I undisguise to stick some1 he turns around and I miss! It gets annoying and I want at least a small bit of XP for getting a stick to make it very obvious.

I spread my abilities through all classes, tend to swap around quite often depending on what I think the team needs...
I go Soldier when we need to clear a defended area, heavy grenade usage to make it easier for us to get the kills
I play the Engie more offensively using most of my supply boosting my allies
I pick Medic when we are on defensive ops, so my team has more staying power
I grab the Operative when we're on the larger maps, I find it easier to make use of the disguise when the enemy players are more spread.. I try and down guys and comms hack as often as possible so my team knows whats coming

I change weapons quite often as well, some work better with specific classes, the engie/soldier specifically.. and also on certain maps favour different guns

Kinda wish you could change body type mid game, but I can see why it's not allowed.. I tend to stick to mid so I can cover most areas

Playing Engie with the gatling gun + large body type is a blast :P

Well I've been playing as a heavy soldier lately. I'm the tank. Minigun. Spamming molotovs and flashes. I'm the one who keeps the enemy back and buy time for the team. Really helps when someone buffs me.

My main character is a 20 Engineer, medium body type. I use a Bulpdaun SMG as my primary gun with yeotek red dot sights, front grip, extended mag, and four way muzzle break. Secondary weapon is the DOOM Bulpdaun SMG with identical attachments as the primary bulpdaun.

Only way I can really think of describing my playing style is... bunkering down. Defensive positions are where I excel, any place where I can get a clear line of sight on the enemy while having cover to protect me from as many directions as possible. In such a position, with a nearby assault to keep my ammo filled, I can pretty easily top kills and score on any map, any side. The Bulpdaun SMGs maintain accuracy and stopping power to well past medium range, though it's a noticably weaker gun than, say, the kross or tampa when in close quarters combat. Anytime someone gets up in my face I usually have to work twice as hard to win the fight, simply because my gun does less damage and has less ammo per clip (along with much slower reload times) than other SMGs and even some assault rifles. Still, I dont mind that disadvantage, I love the look, feel, and distance the gun has - always been a big fan of the P90/F2000, which is quite obviously what the bulpdaun was modelled after.

Usually I'll cover side and rear entrances to my position with mines and the turret, both of which can alert me to the presence of an enemy (device icons above the supply meter - you'll see when your turret is firing or when your mines go off, acts more as an early warning system than something to stop the enemy entirely). Doing that keeps me from being flanked too easily, so I can focus more attention on whatever direction the majority of enemies are coming from.

Defense - Heavy, support, medic or solider. Post up at a choke point and lay waste with my minigun.
Offense - Medium, main objective based. I Start off by firewalling the command posts then head on to the main objective

I play light operative. I do anything to help the more important class get to their objective. I place caltrops on the enemy's common ground and sticky when I get a good shot. Hack turrets by flanking it, spot mines so others don't run into it. I might disguise and blend in sometimes but mosty just for fun, other times when I might need to disguise is to save the team by a surprise attack behind the enemy. When I have a primary objective, I focus on it and rush to it and don't other small objectives.

Medium engineer.Typically use the Lobster with the Carb-9.

My other loadout is medium operative, same guns, with a heavy use of caltrop grenades.I'm in love with those things.

I try to play at a medium range, unless we are on an escorting mission, then I like to keep what ever we are escorting moving.

Light Soldier I flank and hit the enemy from the rear and cap cp's when they arn't paying attention. After a successful flank I would head to my lines and chuck ammo at people who need it and scavenge supply pip's and head out to try and achieve a flank again.

I usually go with a light class, something/engie, lately it's been operative with engie.

I go with the carb 9 and the ritchie revolver with a coga scope, don't hate it till you try it. It's mostly a 2 shot kill to a medium if you buff it ^_^

But I like the light cause I can get to objectives a lot quicker and place my turrets and mines as fast as I can.

One thing I do for sure is buff my weapons and everyone around me before I think about placing my turret. I honestly think my whole team having a weapon buff is more beneficial than one turret even if it is a level 3 turret.

Offense: See signature.
Defense: See signature.

I will use the Bulpdaun/Barnett Light Rifle and the Belgo MP/Sea Eagle based on how the enemy is set up/map. If i can hang back or camp and snipe, I go Barnett Light Rifle and Sea Eagle. If i need to rush, Bulpdaun and Sea Eagle. If i need to flat out steamroll their base and smack down some heavies, Bulpdaun and Belgo MP.

Light with SMG. I wall hop into a slide while shooting way too much. But since I am hard to hit and stay alive longer I don't care.

Light Operative is as Light Operative does.

Operative and General skills ONLY. The only exception being improved damage buff for engineer because I ran out of general and operative skills and I had an extra point.
I spent 90% of my time running back and forth behind enemy lines trolling the hell out of them. The other 10% of my time is spent cortex-bombing followed by intense laughter. God I love that.

KILL ME KILL ME, BEFORE A MEDIC REVIVES ME!

I play whatever someone wants me to play as.
I just finished my Jack (Char that's good at about everything) and am now working on class specific chars. So whoever wants me to play with them just tell me the specific class and body type you want me to be and I'll try my best.

I got two Charakters right now...

LIGHT - Engineer / Operative

I try to get behind enemy Lines with this one, mostly over Roofhopping :-) I then place a Mine and a Turret and try to Flank the Enemy. I never stay still...

MEDIUM - Medic / Engineer

I stay with the Maingroup, handing Support and Buffs, reviving etc. I protect important Places with the Turret and Mines and Heal all out :-)

Charakter to come:

LIGHT - Operative / Soldier or Operative / Engineer not sure yet.

Hide and Seek, hacking far behind enemy lines, turncoating Turrets and flanking, generally confusing the enemy :-)

I switch between Operative and Medic depending on my mood.

Either way, I'm Light, and I use my speed.

As Operative, I bounce from walls, slide tackle people, shred with headshots from my Galactic, Disguise, Sticky, use Caltrops for defense.

As Medic, I still do the bouncing off walls and slide tackling, but mostly to distract enemies while I'm also reviving and patching people up.

I focus heavily on making sure my teammates are very bad at dying, and put far less effort into my own survival.

When I go Soldier, I switch fluidly between offensive actions and re-arming my teammates when they need it.

this game doesn't need a style if your team is good. you can ruin the team without a problem if your team is pro. I realized playing this game without friend or averaged is crazy.

...

You know your style is how you play the game, right?

Or not... it sounds like not.

There are a lot of different ways to play Brink. What do you do in-game? He's not asking "how good are you at your playstyle?" just "how do you play?" should be a simple question to answer, even if your playstyle involves changing tactics regularly - being unpredictable is a style in and of itself.

My primary character is a lvl 20 medium soldier, and I'm generally the tip of the sword. When the fight needs to be taken to the enemy, I'm the one doing it whether on offense of defense. I use the Euston and Carb as my primary and secondary, both with sniper scopes, so I can lay down suppressive fire on the enemy before they get close to the objective. I stick close to the objective class if not a soldier objective like white on rice, and I scavenge downed enemies as soon as they drop so my supply meter is always high enough to buff my own ammo, as well as give any near by team mates ammo as well.

not sure how do i want to play the game. my main character has got skills of every class, but i will definetly reset him.
i first want to get a feeling fo each class so i created 4 characters, one for each class, to try all skills.

atm im with a heavy soldier with the chinzor mg and an ar (i guess it will be gerund but im not sure yet.)
im just trying to kill the enemy and clear objectives or pathes for my team.

I use the single shot AR and SMG with the highest damage output as a Medium. I also only really play Medic because he's hands down the best solo class (minus Operatives, who svck) with the ability to heal himself almost instantly if he gets a second or two of breathing room in addition to self ressurect. Engies are only useful for buffing and mines since turrets are barely worthy of being called a real area denial tool; Soldiers have the overpowered as [censored] Flash Bangs and slightly annoying Mologovs but otherwise they're mainly useful for ammo.

Oh, and Lazerous Grenades are fap worthy for how handy they are.
