Even though the game isn't out yet, I already know I am an addict to it.

The ways I can see are:

I am creating a plasma rifle based on the FO3 Model.
I've watched all gameplay previews 100 times.
In my dreams I am playing New Vegas...only to wake up to a disappointment that I was only dreaming.

Making threads about being addicted to a game that is yet to be released.

But I'm not as addicted as you are, DarkxWater24. I've only seen the media once, but haven't had any dreams about it.

Since the game is not out I'll have to say I can't see how one is addicted to it.
I am on the other hand addicted to the forums.
