Initializing a card and actually using features of said card take totally different paths in the code of a driver. Hence a card can initialize perfectly and mess up whenever particular features are actually used. And, yes, this includes causing BSODs due to mismanaging hardware resources (IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO sound familiar to some).
Well im not gonig to tell you your wrong but from what iv seen, time and time again, if the drivers is somehow messed up the card couldnt even install and if the features on the card cant be used correctly (and since the card cant utilize iteslf) it could be whatever is trying to access those features.
I just tryed agine with onboard (hardware) sound and still getting errors. This is a clean formated system no viruses/maleware fresh installed drivers. I think the problem here is not the drivers but with a poorly optimized engine.
