I beat everything..

Post » Sun May 15, 2011 6:00 am

I pretty much beat everything BRINK has to offer currently.. I got all the achievements, unlocked everything (Which as we all know, wasn't hard), and I have two characters who are maxed out. Each character is proficient in two different classes.

I love this game, can't wait for the DLC!! Wish it was out now, haha..

Do you have a Soldier/Engineer dual class?

If so, do you also have a Soldier/Medic?

How about and Engineer/Operative?

And a Medic/Operative?

And have you tried with a fully specialised character with an almost-total focus on a single class?

Have you tried a 3-class character?

Have you experimented thoroughly with every body type? And every gun with every attachment?

Pretty sure the game still has a few surprises for you...

I had the 3 class, but I felt he was doing less to fit my play style so I deleted him. My dual class characters are geared to do the best for my team as well, one his heavy, and the other is light. I had spent a lot of time with medium and if I need to switch up the body types I can do so easily.. I have experimented with every gun and attachment. If you don't believe me I would gladly review each one for you.

Try single-class and go whole games without changing.

Or try a "jack of all trades" build with abilities from every class.

I'm not saying you haven't tested all the different individual options, just suggesting that you probably missed a few different possible combinations.

Have you played for a while as a Heavy Operative? Have you played as Medic with every body type? Have you tried taking a pair of SMGs when you're a Heavy? Have you tried being a Light Soldier using an unscoped Drognav like it's a shotgun?

It's nice to see that you all defend and care for BRINK, but sometimes it's a wee bit silly, Oblivion

I love BRINK too, but I can't help but feel this is not the full game we were sold - anyways.. If he says he has tried everything, it's no use to find loop holes in his statement, like ''have you tried smgs on heavy?'', it's like saying ''have you tried chocolate sauce on your chocolate ice-cream with chocolate bits in it?''

I'm sorry if I come off as rude now, but.. I don't know, I'm a wee bit swayed right now :/

Oh, I'm not saying this to defend the game. Or to "find loopholes" as you put it (nice way to say that though)

I'm giving him ideas for weird things he might not have thought to try. Also, there are a few people (myself included) who would like to know how well a Heavy handles with dual SMGs.

And I've had triple chocolate icecream with chocolate sauce, chocolate sprinkles, and a dusting of drinking chocolate powder. It was awesome.

As I said before, I'm sorry if I came off rude, but it really seemed like it, Oblivion :/

Holy mother of [censored], really? Aight, that's weird-ass crazy and rad - I wouldn't try it out though ._. don't have the balls nor the components

EDIT: If we're on weird ideas, has anyone tried a Soldier with the noob-tube and all the +grenade perks?

Have you tried being a Light Soldier using an unscoped Drognav like it's a shotgun?

I have, pretty fun. Unscoped the thing still zooms in pretty far too.

Yes, and I've used them.

Makes it feel more shotgun-ish when you do that - still a bit unwieldly when you're trying to track a point-blank target, but you don't have to wait until they're close, and pulling off a slide tackle to headshot just leaves people all incapped and stuff with one bullet.

Well the point of the game isn't just to unlock and try out everything, it's to have fun. So now that you've tried everything, you know some really good combinations. So start using them to kick people's butts online.

Doesn't work quite as well on a Light body.

Especially when the Heavy-Weapon-Light-Body glitch doesn't work with my copy of the game.
