Where have all the Stimpaks gone?`

Post » Wed May 18, 2011 4:45 am

19 hours in and I am getting pounded by absolutely everything! (On normal setting). I've has as many as 30 and am now down to 2. They seem to be much more plentiful in F3... Are there any sites that have a decent amount of them? (Like the Lady of Hope Hospital in F3?) The caravans and vendors seem only to have a couple Stimpaks per visit.
It's getting to the stage where I'm walking around more encounters than braving them. Nervous? Yeah.

Well, there are a lot less, probably becuase the amount of stimpacks was a joke in F3, you could use them to heal a whole army.

Maybe its time to invest in survival then? Wasteland omelettes are amazing.

Sounds cool, I have the opposite issue.
More helpfully, the doctors tend to also keep a stock of them.
Vault 3 seemed to have a lot, if you haven't already been there.
And stop getting hit so much :)

Oh and you can make them at science 70 iirc

Hmm. May have to look at some of that heavy armour I've been a bit shy about. The Sasparilla's nice but it's no good in combat.

sunset sass heals you rather well and costs very little.

gecko steaks

cyote steaks

also remember where you find medics as they often sell stimpacks. also travelking merchants often have 1-2 for or a cola or sunset sass.

Oddly, there's so much in the way of drinks and beds I've rarely been able to find excuses to use them.

If you even need stimpacks, you are doing something wrong. Sunset Sass should be plenty for your healing needs.

Theres no shortage of stimpacks. Buy out them from a shop and wait for 3 or so days go back in and buy them out again. I have 60 or so.

Sleep more often, drink sunset while running, blah blah. Also, it depends what difficulty setting you have it on.

Bring food and drink, use that before you ever use a stim.
