Why am I not surprised you have mods. You really need to be making sure the vanilla version of the game works before you start messing with mods.
Mods are made by the community and have nothing to do with bethesda. You use them at your own risk. Either someone has hacked you save game
without your knowledge or your mods have screwed up your save game file. It doesnt matter if youve disabled all
of them if your save game is screwed up (probably caused by a mod in the first place). What happens when you start a new game? What does the HP look like?
Make sure you keep your mods disabled (with FOMM which u should be using).
Ok, thank you for the reply. The vanilla version worked perfectly fine all 120 hours that I played it without mods. Then I started adding mods and it still worked perfectly fine, then I started a new game which was when it screwed up. All mods worked fine before I started the new game. I've also just started using mods so naturally I'm not entirely sure of all the 'right' ways to be doing this. I also did not blame Bethesda or Obsidian in any way, shape or form in my post. I know it's not their fault if I install a mod that doesn't work. I also don't share my computer with anyone. I have no kids, and all my flatmates have their own computers. Also, I'm a she =]
Why in the world would someone hack someone else's save game in a single player game? That is total nonsense.
To OP:
As for how this massive health boost became present did you happen to use console commands that involve "ModAV"? Also do you have any mods that effect the lvling of companions? There is a possibility that the "lvling" aspects of your companion got loaded on top of your character instead (as to how this occurs i have no clue) but like Jasper said try starting a new game (considering your character is still a low lvl) without any mods installed and see how the character's health loads out.
Nope, haven't used any modav commands at all, the only console commands I'd used by that point were things like clipping, resurrect, and that's about it I think.
Aand I started a new game, all mods disabled, worked fine all the way up to level 6. No issues with hp, reinstalled the mods and leveled up again, seems to still be working fine. Haven't used console at all so maybe it was something there somehow. Maybe my uncooperative fingers hit something funny that managed to make it do that. Who knows. Thanks for the help though peoples.
And thanks dopesickkid for the console command. If it happens again I'll just use that.
