Just finished first playthrough

I finally finished my first playthrough today, and I'd like to thank Obsidian for making a game that, while often buggy (how can a supermutant's bullets hone in on me when the gun is facing the opposite drection?) holds enough depth and characterisation in its little world to make it a worthy successor to Fallout 3.

I sided with Mr House, with a side mission helping the Followers clean up Freeside. I love that the game doesn't force me to choose whatever side the developers happen to decide is the good guys, but lets me decide who I want to help based on my own ideals. While Mr House may be a bit megalomanic, he does have human progress at his heart, which will eventually allow the expansion of New Vegas to improve everybody's life, and not merely the political goals of the NCR or the legion. I do wonder which is supposed to be the canon ending?

In any case, handing General Oliver our Declaration of Independence was really satisfying, especially when all the Veteran Rangers got vaporised by Securiton lasers.

h killling them all was a pain, I had to work with them to get the power armour perk. Their bloody automated turrets kept destroying my gauss rifles, and It took three trips to haul all that power armour back to the Lucky 38. I was glad to get rid of the sanctimonious pricks. It was a bit weird destroying the Brotherhood and joining forces with the enclave, especially seeing how this character is in my RP the same one who did the Fallout 3 main quest.
