Micheal Meyers in BRINK

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 11:42 am

Idk if anyone else has played this Custom Game on COD before, But it's called "Micheal Meyers". (Yes like the movie). I would like to see this come to BRINK.

Rules are:
1) Everyone joins the same team, EXCEPT ONE PLAYER. This player is "Micheal Meyers"(MM). The rest are Survivors.
2) There is only one life per person.
3) All Survivors MUST run away from the MM and/or hide from him.
4) The MM must hunt down all remaining survivors and kill them ONLY USING MELE WEAPONS. (Knife, crowbar, pistol whip, etc.)
5) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE is a Survivor allowed to attack the MM, UNLESS that player is the Last Man Standing.
6) However, equipment that IMPAIRS the MM is allowed by the Survivors. (ex. Flash, Smoke, Stun, or Gas grenades)
7) The Last Man Standing can only kill the MM in the following ways: (A) Mele kill the MM. (B) With headshots only mode activated, shoot the MM in the head with a semi-auto pistol or revolver ONLY. © Use the environment to kill the MM, ex. dropping heavy machinery on him or making use of an explosive barrel.
8) The MM is only permitted to use mele attacks and CANNOT impair the survivors.

EXCLUSIVE BRINK RULES: No health buffs, no revivals, no turrets, and no disguising. All body types are legal.

Objectives:
The MM: To hunt and kill all Survivors using only mele weapons and by use of wit.
The Survivors: To avoid the MM until that player is the Last Man Standing, and then kill the MM in "Game Legal" ways.

With the SMART movement system introduced in BRINK, I am curious to see how this Custom Game will turn out to be. I have been playing this with my friends ever since COD4:MW. We have brought this game with us in many other games, but none seem to be as promising as BRINK will be. If anyone has any ideas on how to make this game more balanced or enjoyable, please reply.

:foodndrink: Cheers!

I wouldn't play it, but I suggest Mediums only.
Why mediums and not lights? If the Last man standing is way better than the MM, the MM wouldn't stand a chance in following him.
Why mediums and not heavies? Heavies limit the amount of moves and tricks you can pull off in such a way that is would be a waste in this gametype.

Mediums are in this case just to have a certain amount of balance between the lights freedom of movement and limited movement of heavies.

Seems a little bit similiar to the good old zombie mode. Anyway, with modding this could be possible. I'm pretty sure the devs aren't gonna get this into the game package since the objective mode is probably all there is.

thats because it is zombie mode. different bodytypes would be too unfair. if the mm was a heavy, the lights could just stay on the roofs the whole time

I would say all survivors should be mediums, but the MM is a heavy. THe MM should also be an operative, that way he can interrogate a downed enemy and have a short radar knowledge of the others and can track them.

Mike Myer's = almost as epic as shotgun tag. I would thkn MM would be a light and the rest mediums (or +). Its rly and epic game mode, its good fun

MM has to be light so that there are no hiding in places he cant reach, all other participants can do what they want, though MM would be hard not using the operative because it is the only ohk knife class.

Well being an Light Operative would the ideal set-up for both the MM and Survivors. I would be interested to see what other combinations players would use and more importantly how they would manipulate this alternative set-up in ways that could turn the tide when faced in all situations. (Being the MM, Survivor, or Last Man Standing)

I can imagine many fun hours playing this.... not consecutively because that would get a tad boring, but it would still be some good fun. Too bad it would only be available to computer players..... because my computer svcks.

As for what classes, it should be more like a freddy kreuger mode, so everyone can be lightweights. Medium would be fun, but I imagine everyone being lightweight going full speed around the map would make for some very intense moments. Just think, Mirror's Edge with someone right on you're back about to stab you..... I know that would get my heart pumping.

Yeah i play on Xbox as well.

Being a Heavy would totally destroy your chances of winning. But still I'd like to see how creative people can get xD
