Fallout: New Vegas bugs?

Post » Tue Mar 08, 2011 8:38 pm

So, 2 years since FO3. And from all the sources I have found, it seems that alot of the bugs that were present in FO3 are still present in New Vegas. Frame rate issues, game freezes, NPC pathing issues, hit detection, just to name the main ones.

Seriously, Obsidian used the SAME engine as FO3 AND Oblivion, would it have been THAT hard to fix the bugs that were present in previous versions?

Yay :) And just to quote what another forumer just said in another thread :P
Always remember: game forums will be full of negative on launches. Everyone who can play frequently has no need to be on the forum (the relative ratio of players to posters is small). Yet, those with problems will find their way here.

This naturally skews the forums towards those having problems.

My game has already crashed once in Goodsprings, and I have seen many NPCs somehow end up in the ground or inside rocks.

This is on the PS3 version. :/

On PC, ran fine for over 2.5 hours now. It seems much better optimized than FO3 was.
