Hello all,

Running W7 x64 with an i7 and eVGA GTX 480. Running latest drivers/Windows Updates.

Initially after the patch I did not have any issue, but I am now running around the casino, The Luxorr? (The one with the white glove society), and my system is crashing to desktop randomly as I try to do anything in this casino. I have run several integrity checks on the games files which are not finding any corruption and have even moved the game to another drive completely using ntfs junction points and the problem is not improving.

I can start the game back up, run for a couple of minutes and it will crash again. I initially wondered if this could be heat related so I figured up Call of Duty Black Ops and Medal of Honor and those two ran in multiplayer matches without issue.

So I'm either facing a need to reload Fallout and see if that helps or there is a serious bug that needs to be patched.

Any others having this same problem?

Are you encountering this issue throughout the casino or almost entirely in the bath area. There seems to be a cursed NPC in there who (I think it's actually one of the script calls for her random banter because it seems to happen immeditely upon talking to her and randomly if I don't) will kill your game faster than that time you realized that the warm soft comfy rock you were sleeping on was in-fact a "Legendary Death Claw."

She's out in the pool part and it seems much less likely to crash in the steam room- I had to save and reload a few times to get through the quest that required me to meet someone in there but I was able to get past it relatively quickly. I always avoid walking through there if I don't have to be in there though and when I enter there by mistake because I forgot which hand was my right hand I always have this panicky scramble to go back out the door because I expect a crash any second.

Thank you for the reply. I am convinced it was a bug in the pool area. Had to save and reload a few times to move past it but I eventually did.
