Wierd Floating guns in c/s and black models over normal anim : Othor Games

Any suggestions?
i get a black model ontop of the players in game plus the animated version of them. I also dont get any models showing in the cutscenes they are just floating guns lol.

Things you might want to know:

Ati radeon HD 5750 1GB
AMD Pheneom II X2 550 3.4Ghz
Windows 7 64 Bit Home Premium
Purchased the Copy of BRINK through STEAM (which continues to install with this same issue) (now unable to see steam on UK store)
Have clean boot pc
have reinstalled Steam
Have clean reinstalled CCC (catalyst control center) and any other ATI Devices registry files - Using Driver Sweeper for x64

Have you tried updating video drivers?
Have you tried reinstalling Brink?
What video card do you have?

Try using Driver Sweeper to clean out your video drivers: http://www.guru3d.co.../driversweeper/
Then manually install Catalyst driver version 11.3 or older.
Once that's done, browse to: Steam\steamapps\common\brink\directx, Run DXSETUP.EXE and let it finish.

I've been keeping up on most of the bugs with Brink that I've seen reported, not sure why I do as it's running pretty much flawlessly for me. But this is a new one for me and I have to think it's video card related. If cleaning out any remnants of old drivers and reinstalling the drivers doesn't do the trick, I'm left without much to try and help you. You may need to contact Bethesda or Splash Damage and see if they have anything. My only other thought would be trying different settings in the Catalyst Control Center. Maybe setting options to default/application controlled. Wish there was something more I could offer.

hey youve been very helpfull its not your fault ATI svcks

im just really annoying i cant play the game nor would i get a refund from steam, so i can buy a retail game. because id have more of a chance of not getting a corrupt file if thats the case here.

because i had this issue with the game darkspore and downloading it from steam. (i had to actaully go to another source and download it from then for it to run perfect)
