Serious Inventory Issues CTD

Had serious issues where I would get a CTD (c0000005) accessing a companions Inventory or accessing a container with a large amount of weapons (Safe in home in Novac).
Had this happen with Cass and ED-E.

I've seen this issue raised once in a while on the forums and I've done the remove all items from the companion or container then drop everything then pick it up fix.
That seemed to help, but I still some times CTD when accessing my Inventory menu and I'm carrying a lot less.
It did seem to clear the issue with the companions.
BTW is there a console command to drop everything you are carrying?

I recently loaded the Zero mod and now I crash every time I access a Merchants inventory to buy or sell.
The Merchant makes his last comment on showing his wares and there is a CTD before the inventory screen can come up.
I removed the mod and it is gone, but no one else has reported the issue.

Otherwise FONV has been a rock.


I've recently ran the DirectShow Filter _Codec_ Reset and the Windows 7 is a fresh install on a new Harddrive.
I reinstalled FONV after that and have verified the files. Version 1.20285

Any way thought I would post my DXDIAG just to see if any thing stands out.
I'll freely admit I don't know much about the audio setup and would appreciate any pointers.

Had serious issues where I would get a CTD (c0000005) accessing a companions Inventory or accessing a container with a large amount of weapons (Safe in home in Novac).
Had this happen with Cass and ED-E.

I've seen this issue raised once in a while on the forums and I've done the remove all items from the companion or container then drop everything then pick it up fix.
That seemed to help, but I still some times CTD when accessing my Inventory menu and I'm carrying a lot less.
It did seem to clear the issue with the companions.
BTW is there a console command to drop everything you are carrying?

I recently loaded the Zero mod and now I crash every time I access a Merchants inventory to buy or sell.
The Merchant makes his last comment on showing his wares and there is a CTD before the inventory screen can come up.
I removed the mod and it is gone, but no one else has reported the issue.

Otherwise FONV has been a rock.


I've recently ran the DirectShow Filter _Codec_ Reset and the Windows 7 is a fresh install on a new Harddrive.
I reinstalled FONV after that and have verified the files. Version 1.20285

Any way thought I would post my DXDIAG just to see if any thing stands out.
I'll freely admit I don't know much about the audio setup and would appreciate any pointers.

OK, it was an issues with Unique Weapons modded by MUW - Moddable Unique Weapons 2_1_2 likely conflicting with another mod.
I couldn't see it using FNVEdit, but that is not saying much.
Just moving your mouse over them while scrolling through your inventory would cause a CTD.

Removed MUW, Did Player.RemoveAllItems after dropping move every thing else.
I dropped some of the modded unique weapons using Player.Drop ######## #. And I will still CTD just by moving them.

Also fixed issue with a companion's inventory and the CTD and the Zero mod CTD when trying to buy and sell from a Merchant.


Weird.
