Ok so I like the game, even though its a bit jerky still.. How ever this server browser is something I would've expected to see in 1998.. Its Extremly slow, Refresh does not work.
First time I used It I got 300 something servers up, problem is it took so long by the time I was done all the servers were full.
And everytime after that It only shows 5-10 servers..
Has anyone found a temp fix for this mediocre browser?
I've noticed the refresh button not working, but the browser is plenty fast for me. Try the fix on this post: http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25614

That links appears to be broken ...doesn't work when I try and connect to it. Our issue with the server browser is not showing or listing servers with non primary IP's -- and indeed it does lock up my internet if I'm not careful using it.

Works for me, but the Splash Damage forums have been up and down a lot lately.
Here's a quote from the link:
FIX FOR SERVER BROWSER LAG
The "serverbrowser_hist.vdf" seems to be the culprit here. Please browse to your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata and perform a search for:
serverbrowser_hist.vdf
You should only have one show up.
For me, after deleting this file, the Brink server browser was now running at 60 FPS =D
How do you use the Steam server browser please? Thanks.
Got to the server screen inside Brink (Freeplay) and then alt-tab to the desktop and right click the Steam tray icon and select "Servers". Find a server you want to check out and double click... alt-tab back into Brink and you will see a new button at the bottom labeled "Launch match on invite". Click it and the server you selected in the Steam browser will connect.

Awesome Thanks! Wow... I can't get any of the servers to show up with less than 150 ping...
