Fallout new vegas: UK

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 7:49 am

Last week i pre-ordered fallout new vegas from www.play.com and they are pretty reliable because i recieved red dead redemption a day before it came out in the UK (becasue i live in england) but i was just wondering, when do you think i will get vegas?

Also i ordered the collectors edition strategy guide, appart from appearance, what is the difference?

and i am also getting the caravan pack with the game for free, is it worth it?

I preordered from Play.com, and I just checked, it said my game was "packing". Which means it will be sent out today, and I should receive it thursday or friday. Which is fine by me.

Caravan pack? You get a nice gun (which isn't in the main game). Aside from that I don't plan on using the Caravan pack anyway, I quite like to start my game with a jumpsuit and a pistol, then see what happens (FO3 style)

I too am wondering when it will be here, as i have Thursday and Friday off work.
I am a little skeptical because i had an email from game saying that due to the epicness of the game they were going to be sorting it early but that makes me think they are sending it out with the strict instructions to not let it get delivered untill friday.
Which game.co.uk have done a few times.
But i guess this is me being paranoid. hopefully.

As the game is on Steam it doesn't really matter when stores send the game out. You won't be able to play the game until Steam decides that it should be unlocked, it'll be a miracle if it is still midnight anywhere in Europe when it unlocks. As it's a big title I expect it won't be as bad as some titles that don't get unlocked until early afternoon or evening.

it unlocks 12:01am GMT on the 22nd (Friday). Which yes, will mean 3am for some people, unfortunately.

This is why you need to go to Gamestop!!! You can get it at exactly 12:01 A.M and not have to wait!

I never go to midnight launches, though. I never have a ride :(

I pre-ordered from GAME as well, according to the track order area it's being "picked and packed". No idea when it will come, hopefully before friday as i have this week and next week off. Sorted.
