and i still need to wait till fryday here i live in the netherland... and i pre-orderd it since may when steam sed you could pre-order it?

People are playing it because it came out in the US today. You guys have to wait a little longer.

As with all things in the world, someone has to wait. Today it's Europe. And the rest of the world. Tomorrow it might be the US turn to wait. And think about the Pokémon games. Japan releases then. A full year later it hit's the US and European markets. It's just about patiences. Also: I think it's best never to be first in line because that makes YOU the guinea pig

Okay simple enough. Imagine Steam (Where you unlock the game) as a quaint little store out in nowhere. Now imagine two million people trying to get in to unlock the game. That's the US. Not add another 5 million world wide and you're gonna bring the house down.
To put it in technical terms: The server(s) can't deal with such a flood of activation requests. And as big as some company's are and with how many customers they have I can very much understand that they portion games and such out. You don't direct connect a nuclear power plant to a toaster you know.
