Lily and Leo

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 7:19 am

According to the guide, Lily can be given medicine after each psychyotic break and the dosage determines her ending. However, no such option ever appears. Has anyone had this problem or discovered how to unlock it? And yes, I'm finished the Jacobstown quest.

Don't you get a choice on whether to test the Mark II Stealthboy on her or not at the end of the quest?

I did, but went with a Science 90 option, which seemed to spare Lily. No idea how that affects the ending.

I always take the science 90 option, but it doesn't seem to effect whether you can effect her medicine dosage.

Her medicine is related to her Dissociative identity disorder instead of Stealth Boy problem......I think.

Well, the Stealth Boys are what gave her schizophrenia (She hallucinates about Leo, not actually becoming him.) The problem is that I'm supposed tobe able to tell her to take her medicine and give her a better ending.

Have you tried taking one of the other options?

Alas, it is too late in the game. Besides, it really should not effect her.

Problem is there is a lot of bugs right now. I am hardcoe bugged. I have no idea how to fix. I tried asking over in the technical forums. What happened is the Lily quest never triggered for me. I did the 90 science option. Whatever I do doesn't seem to work though. I was told for Boone's quest to talk to the other sniper that watches over Novac to trigger him and it didn't. Told to go find Bitter-Root but, he isn't there same with Betsy. I think NPC's are dissapearing and quests are effected with something like that.

I never had to talk to Bitter-Root or Betsy to trigger Boone's quest. I suspect the guide is just filled with bad info...

You have to wait for Lily to get a psychotic breakdown and talk to her about it. Then you have to wait for a timed event where Lily listens to a recording of her grandchildren. Talk to her again and you'll be able to adjust the dosage of her medication.

Leo isn't real, it's a hallucination caused by Lily's schizophrenia.

Also, Lily does not have dissociative identity disorder, since with dissociative identity disorder, the host is not aware of the alters and there's therapy that allows for integration of the alters with the host.

Thank you! I haven't tried it out yet, but this is the first time I've heard a proper response to this.

Just be patient and keep doing other stuff while keeping her as your companion, and check in with her from time to time. I spent a good 10 hours with Boone on my side before i could get his side-quest from him.

Boone is actually triggered by certain events involving the Legion and is not a timed event at all.
