I personally liked the 360 controller for playing fallout. It was, naturally, not quite as good for lined up shots, but in my opinion it made menu navigation and VATS a lot more pleasant. I'm told that the 360 controller should work fully with the PC version so if push comes to shove that seems to be a non-issue.
Personally, I'm not sure how much the DLC weighs in for me. If I knew further back I would have had time to consider it carefully and come to a conclusion based on significant forethought. I know people have mixed feelings about it but I REALLY enjoyed the first 3 DLCs for FO3 when they came out. Maybe part of it though is that Anchorage added something that I thought the game could have stood to use all along (the gauss). FNV seems more "complete" right off the bat in that department.
When it comes to other mods, I'm not a huge fan anyway. I get that some people love the stuff, and I don't mind tinkering around with it (I got a PC version of FO3 on sale for cheap well after launch and ran some mods with it for fun), but for me it's mainly about the main game, and the "official" storyline.
Also, I'm wondering what people have found in terms of stability/glitches/crashing in both versions.
I guess I'm just wondering what other people's opinions on the subject. And please, don't make this into a DLC thing ,whether it's good, bad, right, or wrong and all that. What's done is done, it doesn't matter. I'd like to get some actual opinions from people and not just have the thread locked on me because it turns into that, people's opinions on the game as a whole from one platform to the other. I recognize that ultimately it's a personal decision based on my own preferences, and I have no doubt that no matter which way I go I'll suffer buyer's remorse because I 'm just that kind of person, so I'm just trying to get the macro view from other people on this issue.
