Take my PC copy back to the store?

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 4:40 am

So picked up the game today and went home to install only to find out that the "game has not been released" in my geographical location and so i can't even install the game (that I PAID for), I played 3 on xbox but always thought it would be a better PC game...should I wait until I can actually play the game or bring it back and get the xbox version??

Looks like they don't care for people with bad internet connections. Bought my game and can't even play it because the Steam BS makes my connection drop. PC is definitely worth the wait but this is just ridiculous. Whoever had this bright idea should be fired. Period.

You will not be able to play until the game is released in your country. Where do you live?

Nowhere I know of.

Once box open is like one egg broken. The retailer is not going to take responsibility for the rules of the product developer. They're gonna say "we're just a retailer; we sell stuff; if you got beef with the item, take it up with the person who made it."

Especially an unsealed PC game. Steam or no Steam, I can almost guarantee they won't accept it back.

Your complaint, such as it is, is with the store. The package mine came in clearly says do not sell before 10-19-10.

If you were going to buy it anyway, what's the problem? You can play it when you can play it. You have it. You don't have to make another trip tot he store and you have it before everybody else.
