He guys and gals, I just saved Beagle and we exited the building...there was 2 enemys on our flanks..he took the right, I took the left. I turned around and he has vanished. The pip boy is stateing I need to talk to him ( to further the story I gather) about protecting the town. I CANNOT FIND HIM. Is this a glicth??

I cant find him to talk to him and close the quest....GLICTH? I dont know but help...Can I skip this part? or is it neccesary to play it?
