Finally getting royally pissed that FONV would crash, even in my xp partition, worse in the Win7 partition. I went looking for answers.
Found something interesting..it works..very well. Not 1 crash at all last night, after 6 hours of playing. Yes i have no life, this i know. What i did was this.....................
In the XP partition, loaded up Steam, set to off-line mode, and set a gamer profile within XP. Have turned off all but 5 or 6 services, so im using 125mb in processes. Set EAX, Crystalizer and some other things off in the creative launcher.
No need for me to set the affinity to 0 any more, runs great on Ultra, HDR, high water, 15 AF, 8 AA (with Nvidia set to enhance game setting to 16xQ)

Happy for now until the patch arrives
