Hi i really hope you guys can help me ... My problem is that when i try to play FNV i cant hear the audio until i hit ESC
I also tryed the patch "silenthill" but dont work plz some1 help me i just got this game for bday and i found this.. This is really BS

One more thing ... its not my PC because i can run other game fine Like MW2 BLACKOPS FALLOUT 3 with no problems

Your drivers are probably the newest for that setup even if they are 2 years old.

You do have a few non standard DirectShow Filters. This can cause all sorts of un-expected issues.

http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35868 to reset them (note: for a few people it will brake other audio/video programs)

If your using Realtek's 3D SoundBack it has been known to cause issues with Fallout 3. Disabling it or changing it's settings has been known to help.

ya i been having the same problem there was a few others also dunno if they got it fixed or not but, i'm betting its a problem with the game in fact i cant even get past the character create thing at the start without hitting esc cause the doctor freezes up i had really hoped they would have fixed this by now but guess not all i want for christmas is to be able to play the game i spent 60 bucks for is that to much to ask? guess so.
oh and i had no problems like this at all with fallout 3 in fact i dont think i ever ran into any problems playing that game.

but just to be sure heres my DxDiag incase someone can tell me if i can do anything to fix it.

because i would really like to play this game soon ^^

As your on XP have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in DxDiag?

It could be because your CPU is below the minimum requirements. As far as I can see (and remember) your CPU is single core, and the min req. says dual core.

I saw the same problem recently by another user, that also only had a single core.

Can be that the second core is handling the sound or something like that?

I had the exact same audio lag until I upgraded my cpu to a core 2 duo. I honestly didn't believe the single core cpu was the problem and was upgrading for performance reasons in other games, but lo and behold as soon as I installed the new cpu my audio lag disappeared!
