With all the quirky humor, and even the homosixuality in the game, it surprises me that the armor system is pretty much the same "set" based thing we had in FO3.

Pre-War outfits look different based on gender, but why? WHY CAN'T I WEAR A PRETTY PINK DRESS AS A MAN? I want to confuse my enemies! It would be damned hilarious to stomp Legionaries out in the Wasteland in a pink dress taken from some of the old women that keep randomly attacking me.

Have fun murdering legions in that. Though warning, console commands deactivate your achievements.

Which is funny considering how many you'll be using just to fix quests you try to do in Gamebryo games ...

i tried doing a bunch of random console commands specifically to get rid of them. im tired of stupid achievements. i did the independant questline and didnt find any quest breaking bugs so far. im doing an ncr run through next and saving the the most fun one with the legion last.

They do? I'm pretty sure I still got an achievement after enabling god mode or using no clip.

It only disables them for your current play session. I'm pretty sure you could cheat to get things like the Mysterious Stranger's gun, all of the perks, all skills and stats at max, whatever the best armor is, and more caps than you'll know what to do with, then just restart the game after saving and get achievements freely. I do know, though, that I've no clipped out of being stuck, and still got achievements after restarting the game

Not for me. I used TCL and Kill commands to kill creatures who went below map level, and I still get achievements.
