Should I play it in 2013?

Don't get me wrong, but I am playing Fallout 2 seriously for the first time with latest patches (from GOG), no gameplay mods, and I am having one HELLUVA time. No bugs, no crashes, no broken quests, just masterpiece writing and fun fun fun. What about FO:NV?

Personally I'm going to wait for the FNV GOTY edition before I decide (It would really be nice it there was a LEGIT Steamfree version)

Well I can promise you that Fallout 2 (even if you have the latest official or unofficial patches) is still not bug free. If it take as long for most of the FNV bugs to get fixed as the last community patch for Fallout 2 took... then you're not talking about 2013 but more like 2020.
