Controls keep messing up

Okay, so I pre-ordered fallout new vegas, and I haven't had time to actually play a lot until now due to school and work etc... My computer meets all the tech specs to run the game perfectly.

My problem is that when I'm playing, all of a sudden, my gun wont fire, and my Vats wont work, and my pip boy wont come out (keep in mind, some times they all don't work, or one of them just doesn't work..it's random). Some times The vats will be delayed literally about 45 seconds ( I haven't experienced any movement lag or anything like that though). After my gun stops working, I look at my control settings, and my mouse left click is deselected and not set to anything to fire, and I can't reselect it. I've tried using a different mouse, same thing.
I've tried turning off all my other programs running in the background, and that didn't help at all.
I'm kind of stuck here...Any help is much appreciated, as I would like to get on with the game =p. Thanks!!! (=

It's an animation bug that affects a lot of weapons. Best work around is to click the ironsights/aim button after reloading every time. This will tell you if your controls are stuck. If they are, just click the fire button once and that will free it up.

That is likely the problem you have. If not, post again.

It affects any weapon that reloads with a single shell at a time. Cowboy Repeater, 357 magnum, lever action shotgun, hunting shotgun, etc.

Alright. Yeah it works sometimes. I hope they come out with an update to fix it soon. It's really annoying -_-' haha
