Crashing in combat

Post » Wed Mar 16, 2011 7:44 am

Please help. I am about 25 hrs. into the game and all of a sudden if I get into combat with a medium to large number of NPC's the game crashes. I have a Geforce 9800 GT 3d card and I have 3 gigs of ram on a Pentium D. I have been playing the game on 1280 x 800 resolution with it just lagging at times but not crashing. Can anyone help?

Look here, now. Crashing is just crashing. Just because no one here had any specifc answer to this first such question (other than the CPU is an antique that hardly qualifies at a minimum level), your starting up another crashing thread was unnecessary.
