Every time I start a new game I can watch the intro video, but the game crashes on the loading screen following that.
Any similar issues or a fix going around I should know of?

How did you solve the problem?

Would not get past the opening movie but thankfully I reloaded FO3 on my PC a week ago and IT acted the same way so I knew what to do.

ALSO to stop it from locking up I had to shut OFF my second monitor on my dual-monitor setup.

Good luck! It is playing nicely for me. I have a 1 GB graphics card and even tho it suggested Medium I set to UltaHigh mode and it works nicely!
