I am wondering if the game has issues with DX10/11 OS's Because my wife's computer is vastly inferior to mine hardware wise, yet can run the game on Ultra High settings without any issues on XP.

Having an Xbox controller plugged in seems to cause a lot of problems even if you're not using the controller.
