Since I wanted the CE, I pre-ordered the game and out of the pre-order packs I liked the Caravan pack the best, so I pre-ordered from Walmart. FedEX just dropped off the box, I tear it open to find a sheet with a code for the Mercenary pack! How do I get the pre-order pack I paid for?

I'd start by contacting Walmart.

I'd bet they ran out, and just shipped what they had.

(I'd also bet that their fine print indemnifies them in this)

It's funny I also got my caravan pack from Walmart, and although I actually have my caravan pack, the fine print seems to be copy and pasted from the Mercenary Pack.

Maybe try putting the code in and seeing if it unlocks the right pack. Maybe they ran out of paper but still gave you the right code.

I already contacted them through the contact form on the order status page, but there's no telling when I'll get a reply. I'm afraid that if I put the code in and it does download the Mercenary Pack that they won't exchange it for the Caravan Pack.

I started a new game and wondered around Goodsprings a little bit, but I don't want to get started on anything serious because dammit I want my sturdy caravan shotgun and leather armor, not a stupid vault 21 jumpsuit and wimpy 9mm pistol.

i pre ordered from walmart to but my little bonus page in the game case has the caravan pack maybe contact bethesda/obsiidian they probably sent out the wrong ones to walmart and in turn walmart shipped out what they recieved.

Damn I ordered from Wal-mart I hope I get the right one. Might be what the others said that it just says Mercenary but it's actually the Caravan pack. I think you should just go for it.

I didn't pre-order but the Caravan pack was included in the copy I picked up at Walmart last night. That Caravan shotgun has saved me more then a few times already! But those repair kits go fast.

I did not pre-order, just went to bestbuy and picked it off the shelf and I got the Mercenary Pack. Thought they billed it as needing to pre-order the get that stuff.

I ordered from Best Buy (wanted the grenade gun), and went on line today to see what the tracking number was and when it was going to arrive and found out that my order is “back ordered”. Very disappointing when I pre-ordered back in August and the stores have plenty of copies in them. I am tempted to just go to the store and buy it and cancel the pre-ordered version. So at least Walmart is shipping them out, Best Buy seems to not be – at least not to me

If I enter the code, does it just activate immediately or do you have a chance to preview what it is before using up the code.

Welcome to the club i got the Caravan pack from Game Stop when i was supposed to get the Classic Pack.

At least you got codes that worked. XBL is rejecting my Classic Pack code.

Yea the E-mail i sent Game Stop said i was glad I got something but you know, i only bought it from Game Stop to get the per order items and if you can't do that i would have just got the Steam Version from the start.

I got a reply from Walmart. They listed three options, send it back for a refund or replacement, return it to a local store for replacement if it's available or they can "attempt to have the manufacturer send you a replacement part," which can take up to 14 days. Pretty much the only option available is the last one since the code supposedly only comes with pre-orders.

I just noticed in the fine print at the bottom of the coupon it says to visit support.gamesas.com or call 410-568-3685 if the code is invalid. It's after business hours so I sent gamesas an email, and I guess I'll call them tomorrow.
