I've gone through my points where it crashes, it's difficult to pinpoint what causes it to crash. I have noticed that ( here's what I can offer info wise ) I zoom with scoped weapons frequently, and I sneak alot. So after some time , I'll head back to some where to sell my earnings and it will begin to get sluggish/overdrawn on possibly memory. Eventually it will become a slide show if I push it far. I normally just save/shut down the system/ restart and it is all ok.
It's unfortunate that the freezing deadlocks the entire playstation, just because now you have to physically get up and reset the machine, though we're talking about a community of people who plays games. This is probably considered heathen anti-christ type problem, Heaven's no I have to get up!

Kind of a bummer all in all, something went wrong in production. I don't think bethesda would have just let that slide.

For as long as I've played on that same game engine though, it's always had some kind of freeze problem. It's a hell of a job to switch / get a new or create a new engine. Though It would be undoubtedly worth it as there is a history of freezing and memory errors.


Anyways thanks for making the game either way, the dialogue from some characters is pretty entertaining. The world of fallout 3 / nv was worth one last revisit I suppose. Hopefully the errors are all resolved sometime soon. Though there is apparently problems with expediting the patches to console users?? I was a little bummed that I got it on ps3 , after seeing the pc version get patched god only knows faster than us. Not to mention I'm screwed thanks to microsoft's 'fast one' with the DLC content for future being "exclusive". Figure a week and counting , I hope you bethesda folks have something to hand us for the ps 3 considering the troopers out here who are ignoring the nay sayers and trying to enjoy the game regardless of errors.
