I'm simply attempting to repair the Trooper helmet that is equipped, game freezes. I attempt to equip the NCR Bandelero Armor and helmet, game freezes. I attempt to switch faction armor, game freezes. I walked out a tent door in Primm, game freezes. I work for a software company and I understand that nothing is perfect on release, but its simply unacceptable that it was released like this with so many gameplay issues across multiple platforms. The recent XBOX360 update does not address the issues at all.

Yeah I'm having the same problem since the new patch. I try to kill an enemy and it freezes. I try to fast travel and it freezes. Not just the game freezes... the entire XBox...

I tried loading save files from before the patch, but that's not the issue. Whatever this new patch had in it... it has made the game unplayable. Today was my day off from work since the game came out... I was really looking forward to playing it today....

I was worried I'd have to start over due to the patch only taking affect once a new game is loaded..Oh well.

Same problem with NCR Bandoleer armor and the goggled helmet. I steal it in the tent in Primm and repair it and equip it, but when I leave the tent the game freezes. I tried just stealing it and leaving the tent and that worked but when I then repaired it and equipped it the game froze again. My first freeze was pre-patch, so I patched up and it still freezes here.

Do we have to start a new character after the patch?
