When I first began to play Fallout: New Vegas I encountered an issue with walking, and I thought it was common. That the left movement controls were now used on the right stick and the right view rotation controls were now on the left stick, and that this would be difficult to get used to, but normal. My friend who also bought the game the exact same time I did, which is today, started his game an did not encounter this issue. This immediately made me frustrated. I attempted to create a new game to see if that changed anything, it didn't. I also deleted all the saves off of my hard drive and then cleared the cache of it, this also did nothing. I cannot find out why this is an issue and it is rather frustrating.

Yeah I had a thread from a few hours ago. Ive done all the same stuff as you, I even tried different controllers, and put the disc in to my friends xbox and it didnt have the problems. I assumed it was my xbox thats having the issue. What xbox do you have(normal or slim)? And what software do you have on your xbox? Normal software or do you have any beta stuff on there? Im running the kinect beta off mine so im not sure if that has anything to do with it....

I know with Fallout 3, there were instances where unplugging other USB peripherals helped. Maybe give that a shot.

I managed to get the problem fixed. I deleted my gamertag(just the gamertag) then I recovered it, started up the new game with no New Vegas save files and it was fixed. No idea why it was related to my gamertag but it was for some reason.

Yeah the same thing happen to me as well. I tried to delete my gamer tag then recover it but that did not even work. I tried like more then 10 times, i really want to play this game. Very disappointed in bethseda!!!!!!

Can you please fix this problem i really want to play this game. its just sitting there taunting me, hopefully you can feel my pain.
