Hello all, ive been looking all morning to try and find information on the implants in the game. From what ive found they can be put on from new vegas clinic and they increase special stats. What im looking for is maybe a link that describes it in more detail as to maybe how many one can buy, pros/cons of implants or just any information on them at all would be nice. Also, is this information in the strategy guide? If so ill give it a look see but falloutwiki hasnt got anything on implants yet and couldnt find info on them, thanks in advance to all who may reply.

Are they permanent or do they wear off? So just to understand properly, I could potentially max out all special stats? Just want to see on this before I get too far as I may want to reconsider my point allocation as of yet as ive read in a couple of other threads that one can only buy as many implants as their endurance number and im not sure if this is true or not, thanks again for any added help.

if so, do they make you succeptible to EMP?

They are permanent but you can buy one for every point of endurance you have.

Funny thing about that strategy guide. I just picked it up and it mentions "highly expensive" implants, but I can't seem to find any *details* about said implants.

I would really like some specifics.

Is there only one place to get them? Can you buy them from any clinic? Just how much are they, exactly?
