Repconn ghoul quest bugged : Fallout: New Vegas

I just finished the "Come fly with me" quest, i headed up to the control room, hit the launch button, and nothing happened. the Flight of the Valkyrie music played and the quest message popped up saying it was done, but the rockets never launched and the dome never opened, there was the sound effect of the launching rockets though. Any advice on getting it to work would be appreciated.

Hm, if you are able to load the autosave when you exit to the CP, I suggest you do that.

What was your progression of the quest? I convinced the guy that he isn't a ghoul and helped him sabotage.

I just vanilla'd the quest, found the parts, fixed the rockets, launched them. (kind of)
