three simple questions after getting the game today

Post » Mon Apr 11, 2011 10:11 pm

ok so first question: my brother and i are planning to play this game at the same time (different characters) will we be able to run two seperate games together since it says starting a new game will delete our auto saves?? i was thinkin we can if we just overwrite our character saves and only take up one slot out of a thousand, but wasn't sure.

second: i have the razor Death Adder mouse, is there a way i can assign buttons 4 and 5 to different items such as ammo swapping and idk what else?? if so how??

third question: seeing as im on the pc i kinda noticed that the mouse cursor moves alot faster in the pip boy and going though menus than it does when im moving my cross hair.. has anyone else noticed this or is it just me??

i think thats it, this game is awesome!! so glad i picked it up today!!

happy gaming guys :D

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! This must be your first Beth (Yes, yes I know Obsidian made F:NV but still) game and as such I have to say NEVER EVER rely on the quick and Autosaves. They are prone to corruption and/or glitch locks and has caused thousands of people much grief. When you save do a manual hard save each and every time. It takes only a few seconds and it will save you from the "Enter new area game crashes, autosave useless" deals. Don't even recycle your saves. Delete the old ones and make a new one. EVERY time

Edit:
#2: Go to settings, controls and key mappings I think it was. It's in the settings somewhere.
#3: Turn the sensitivity down in the settings or click the speed down on your mouse (I can do that and I've seen mice with that kind of function)
