i just finished the Valore quest and now that i'm gonna turn it in with the NCR, i can't enter the strip because now im required to have a key for it?

Has this happen to anyone else?
Anyone know how to fix this or where this "key" is?

This is a bug that occurs if you somehow end up on opposite sides of the gate as your companions. You can fix this a few ways. One way is to travel to the strip by the monorail or you could snipe kill one of the securitrons and swipe a key.

I had this happen to me in the weatherstation. I was able to open the door by doing the following. Get up close to the door. go to console ~, click on the door which should identify the door. I then typed activate and the number displayed in identifying the door and it opened.
It was NOT a door that normally required a key. I know because I had gone through it once before in a previously saved game but didn't like the outcome.
