As the topic title says, did the devs manage to fix this one? Or do we still have to depend on the modding community? I see no mention of it in the patch notes, but that's probably because they were hastily thrown together.

I have the same problem. The game freezes after few seconds while I'm waiting in th bath house.
I changed my video settings to "low" and played in the window mode (Vsync disabled).
I was able to complete the task in the bath and exit from there... But this doesn't solve the bug... Quite often the game still freezes...

I am having the same problem, I did make it through once only to crash on my way out the door.
When I run the verify integrity of game cache checker from Steam, it constantly reports that "1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired." But the game still crashes and the checker always reports the same issue.

Maybe this helps the dev team track down the bug?

Anyway I had to literally "save" my way out of the bath house once I met my party. That was the only wat to get through for me.

Yes, I had freezes in this area!
But mostly eliminated when I told my companions to wait outside in the street.
By myself, one freeze only (inside the actual steam room).
Very strange though, only time I had freezing in the whole game (200+ hours)...
What's more annoying is that stupid Heck Gunderson quest glitches!

The only glitch I had in that quest was the bath house. After I got out of there, the rest of the quest was free of glitches. As for the rest of the game. Meh.... still a bug fest.
