First post on this board,

I'm looking for advice on where to save my game before I move onto the last few levels on the game, so that I can basically get all the endings without having to restart the game and go back to level 1.....(which I did with Fallout 3 many times! Which is fun, but theres nothing like being a high level walking around the waste land!)

I've just killed Benny, and have the options for: Yes Man - Mr House - NCR - Legion.

I've completed quite alot of the side quests and i'm at level 20.

How far into each of the factions missions can I go without being locked into their ending.

If this is a repeat post, please point me in the direction of a similar one!

If you still have options with the four factions that you have listed and are at worst neutral rep with all of them, make a save now if you want to come back and try different endings. You're nowhere near the end of the game, but you're nearing a crossroad where you have to make choices so if you want to come back later and try out a different faction without starting over, now would be a good time to make (and make a backup of) a save for that purpose.

All the different ending factions have different requirements on how to deal with the other factions, so your answer is far more complicated than you might expect. But I think if you ally with them all, and you have to destroy them later, you can always do so. So your best bet might be to become everyone's friend/ally and dont do anything with your platinum chip until you do.

I typically don't go to House at Lucky 38 until I have the whole map done already, level 30 and best gear. There isn't much to gain from the main quest, Maria and Gannon's Tesla armor and that's it.
